Topology is the mathematical field which is mainly concerned with the investigation and the classification of surfaces. In topology mathematicians study ways of categorising and distinguishing among various surfaces. Möbius' strip is one of these surfaces.
One of the most fascinating things about Möbius' strip is that it has only one surface.
